Using web2.0 in any form other than a joke is bad. And last I checked this was a technical forum. Adding some specific reasons why Smarty sucks might have value. Vague rants about something just sucking with nothing to back it up doesn't add value. Having never used smarty I think it would be interesting to hear about some of its shortcomings or benefits.
