I'm pretty sure the same recruiter contacted me. As did about 10,000
others - putting your resume on careersurf will do that. I'd only
contact the recruiters that are at least professional if I was you.
Also, if you want to build up your portfolio, you might want to check
out some temp work. I just spent a short stint unemployed and had
very good luck with creative circle. Overall, they are a good temp
company with decent wages, you can pick what you want to do, and if
you are good with css/javascript on top of some php you're golden.
That said, started my new perm job today (found by myself, recruiters
were jerks to deal with so I didn't really bother with that route) and
LOVE IT. Just wanted to put that out there!

so I'm sure you'll do fine.
