I'm using Chicken to connect to my Linux desktop, where many shortcut key combinations involve the Mod4 or "Super" key (generally, this maps to the command key on Mac keyboards or the Windows key on Windows PCs). However, when I type the command key in Chicken, it does nothing (unless a local Mac shortcut is invoked). Is there a way to have Chicken send the Mod4 keystroke, either by typing command, or by mapping it to another key on the Mac?

Another user appears to have asked this same question with regard to CoTVNC, but got no response (probably because that software is orphaned):

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Answered my own question. To enable the command key to send as Mod4, go to:

Connection > Connection Profiles > Modifiers

Then set the dropdown option for "Command" to "Windows" (i.e., the "Windows" key, which Linux recognizes as Mod4/Superkey).

Hope this helps the next person.
