Hi,

Great idea. I just downloaded the binaries and am having no success
in getting it to work with Director MX under OS X. The test movie fails
to initialize the xtra and it doesn't show up in the message window
when using either showxlib or put the xtraList.

Let me know if you read this! mail @ leoprendergast.com

Sorry, leo, but the Xtra was written with classic libraries.
I don't know of an easy way to get them to work with OS X.

    Leo,

Those binaries are most definitely not Carbon -- which they'd need
to be for OS X and MX. They were built in 1997, so Carbon really
    wasn't an option.

All that has to be done is to drop the files into a CodeWarrior
project for the 8.5 XDK and compile them. I don't have my Mac
currently set up for Xtra dev, sadly, just the PC, so it may take
me a few days to do so. Feel free to give it a shot yourself! I will
go ahead and built a set of Windows binaries for the two or three
    windows users in the world.

Ha, I posted my response one minute before Rob posted his
more helpful one. Disregard what I said!
