[Chessx-users] hint arrow

Hi,

I've just installed an admittedly old version of the application (1.4.6.0)
via a linux package manager (apt).

I open a database, select the game, select Game Text tab, then I select the
last move. In response, ChessX draws a lavender arrow from a piece to an
empty square. I'm assuming this is a hint.

In an attempt to disable this feature (which seems to be mentioned in the
release notes for version 1.2.2) I open preferences and select "No hints in
training mode" on the board tab. Then I choose training mode->play both
sides. The arrow persists.

What am I doing wrong, save using an old version of the application?
