Just some general points... I am keen to help out with the chessx development, a native Linux with features to rival scid vs pc would be excellent. I have found that running the wine versions of both chessx and scid vs pc appear to work fine on Ubuntu 14.10. The chessx compiled version I made to run natively has menus that come and go at the top of the application (the file, edit, view,....menus are not behaving correctly). So I'm wondering how well tested the Qt version is, and can I help out on this with testing to start with. Also be keen to hear anyone's comparison of chessx and scid vs pc.
