When browsing a subvariation, ChessX shows the ECO code of the main line. The result is that one can have -for instance- a Caro-Kann showing on the board and "B20 Sicilian Defence" writen two lines below. This might be annoying, especially if the GameText window is closed (since in this case the main line is not immediately evident).
I would suggest having both the possibilities (showing ECO of the main line *or* of the subvariation) available as optional (mutually exclusive), with "when browsing a subvariation show ECO of the main line" inactive as default.
