As each Unix has its own way of installing programs, I never added installation hints. For example, programs might either go to /bin, /usr/bin, /usr/local/bin, some use /opt, some use /share or /var or whatever. Whenever I added something like this, I got complaints. So I am leaving this to the package maintainers.
