#8 Locks up when entering tablebase position with 'crafty'
If one plays against the chess engine 'crafty' inside ChessDB with tablebases enabled, then 'crafty' versions 19.10 and later cause ChessDB to lock up.
I have observed this on the SPARC platform (tested with Sun Ultra 80, 4 x 450 MHz UltraSPARC II CPUs, 4 GB RAM, Solaris 10). Discussions with Robert Hyatt shows that there may have been seveal changes in the code and it was difficult to find out exactly where the problem lay.
Can anyone see this on another operating system, or can verify it works OK on another operating system?
