no, i'm not using jikes, but just that you know, the problem went away when
i switched back to jdk 1.3.1. of course, now, my tomcat doesn't run anymore
(because i have the jdk 1.4 version installed), but i haven't had time yet
to delve into it deeper. for the moment, i keep switching the jdk, depending
on what i'm doing. probably, with time, it will fix itself :-)
