I'd like to use the TrailingComment check, but I'd
prefer not to punish developers who were thoughtful
enough to add "non-externalizable" comments after a
String literal. For example, ideally the following
would be allowed:
public static final String MY_CONSTANT =
"Non-externalizable text fragment"; // $NON-NLS-1$
Would it be possible to enhance the TrailingComment
check to allow only for comments with specific contents
or patterns of contents to trail statements or expressions?
