#2481 CHEBI:74575 ontology
Dear ChEBI curators;
I was checking for this compound (CHEBI:74575) when I realize one of the relations in the ontology looks incorrect. This would be _is_a 11,12-saturated fatty acyl-CoA (CHEBI:85348)
Can you please take a look at it to double-check?

Hi Lucilla,
As far as I can see, the relation is ok - (9Z)-pentadecenoyl-CoA (CHEBI:74575) has a double bond at the 9-10 position of the fatty acyl group, the 11-12 position is saturated and this is the only criteria in the definition for including/excluding fatty acyl-CoAs from the class.
There is a problem is in the illustrative structure for the class (provided by Kristian), which suggests that positions 1 to 10 of the acyl group are saturated, but there is no means to clearly show that any/all of the bonds in the chain could be saturated or unsaturated, so we either have to have the current (misleading) structure, or one in which the acyl group is simply shown as OC(=O)R.
