If I display eg. a 1308x1062 image on a 1024x768 window, the

is clearly pixellated, compared to what XV produces. I
would *love*
to switch to chbg for slideshows, 'cos it's got all the
features I want,
but the picture quality is noticably worse.

The rounded humps at the bottom are smooth with XV, noticeably
pixellated in chbg.

I just tried this on both versions of chbg:
chbg-1.5-imlib1_1.i386.rpm
chbg-1.5-pixbuf_1.i386.rpm
As far as I can see, it seems to be a problem with the imlib
version, *not* the pixbuf version.
