Hey folks. I set up a GIT repository on Sourceforge. There's not much in there yet. I started by committing a clean copy of the chasers_gpl_snapshot_1a tarball, and tagged it as such. I subsequently removed the CVS entries, and added the per-object updating patch. Sourceforge has pretty good documentation on accessing GIT, and they also have a nice browseable view of it. While I was at it I disabled CVS on Sourceforge. It had been enabled, but nothing was ever committed to it. I'm glad this is up an running, as it seems pretty necessary for continuing CHASERS development in the future. I haven't actually tried pulling a copy of CHASERS with GIT, but I assume it works fine. If anyone finds that's not the case, please report back! Cheers, Ken |
