Hi all. A new developer Hippiguana will be working on iterations and decision structures for the interpreter.
For any users who downloaded Release 3, the corrupt file problem has been sorted out. You can get the clean version now. Thanks for testing!
Alpha Version 3 is now available! This release now uses a dedicated file extension, (*.chq). This should make it easier to differentiate between source code and documentation. The major change though was the inclusion of several new string processing functions: Len, Left, Right, Mid. These will allow developers to analyse data and develop more complex programs. I updated the documentation, also including the FlashWindow function which has been present since version 2, but was undocumented. I also split the tutorial and language A-Z into two separate files. I updated the example files so that they take advantage of the whitespacing support from version 2 (no more cramped program code). Finally I have updated the website, specifically the example program and about sections.
I have added a discussion forum, and also an HTML copy of the tutorial in the Docs section. Don't forget to visit the website: http://chaqo.sourceforge.net
The first public release of Chaqo is now online. The package also includes all of the source code. It is a testament to the glorious nature of Chaqo as a programming language - this whole package is only 21kb in size!
I am proud to announce that the Chaqo project now has been hosted by SourceForge. I have file releases that I will make available soon, and a website to explain exactly what Chaqo is and how it works.
