We use the extended parser in Cocoon 2.1.3, and we
have succesfully parsed edifact files for patients that
have diabetes. These files typically contained 1-5 UNA
segments. The customer have now changed this so a
typical edifact file now contains up to 110 UNA
segments. The amount of data within the UNA segment
is fairly small, but is has had a dramatic effect on the
elapse time. Where a file on 110 KB typically took about
1/2 hour, a file with that size now takes more than 4
hours. I suspect that the problem lies in the extended
parser, and I would appreciate if I could get support in
doing the troubleshooting, perhaps reconfiguring the
extended parser, perhaps the grammar could be set
otherwise.

Files can be sent if requested.
