#32 changepassword 9.0 and smbpasswd

Hi,

We use Changepassword 0.7 for a while now, to allow
users to change their samba password in the smbpasswd file.
This was on a samba 2.2.5 on a RedHat8.
Now, I want to move our samba server to a new machine.
SuSE Enterprise 9 with samba 3.0.2b-3.4 and
Changepassword 9.0.

So, when I change the smbpassword with the
Changepassword 9.0, I can't login anymore,
authentication fails.

Is the smbpasswd file corrupt?

When I copy the smbpasswd file from the old samba
server to the new one, I have the same problem. The
autentication fails.

Does somebody know what the problem is?
