#27 "Change at Startup" doesn't work on 10.3.4

I would like ChangeDesktop to make a picture change at my boot
startup and then quit. I followed the instructions: added
ChangeDesktop to my login items, and in the preferences I marked
"Change at Startup" and "Change then Quit". However, when I
boot my system, it will launch ChangeDesktop preferences, and the
server is NOT running and it does NOT quit. The server only
seems to start manually, and then I need to "Save and Quit".

It's running on two separate machines (G3 and G4 Powerbooks,
both with 10.3.4). One had had a previous ChangeDesktop
installed (and removed) but the other had no previous
ChangeDesktop, but the problem is the same on both.

I've attached the "net.classicalguitar.brian.ChangeDesktop.plist"
preference file, but as I look at it everything seems to be in order.
I've also repaired my permissions (repeatedly).

You don't add ChangeDesktop, that will just launch the GUI control app.
Instead open ChangeDesktop, and select "Add Server to Login Items"
from the Preferences menu. This will add the background server to your
startup items and then you will see the desired behavior.

    HTH.

I also get this in 10.4.4 with 2.5.2.1.
