Champollion v1.1 was released on August 25th, 2005. This release contains bug fixes and performance tuneups made in the past year.

Champollion v1.0 is now available for download. Champollion v1.0 contains the source code for champollion kernel, the wrapper scripts for English-Arabic and English-Chinese.

It also contains a hand-aligned evaluation corpus (English-Chinese), which can be used for development and evaluation of new/existing sentence aligners.

For language pairs which the current release doesn't support, you may use the generic wrapper script provided in the release. It may or may not work well on the language pair of your interest, depending the morphological complexity of the languages involved.... read more
