The CTK software works great, but it seems like the demo files or runners for the (./test_installtion) testing script is incorrect.
We created our own data files and edited testing script to use our files and everything is running correctly.
By the way this is how to set the environment variable for those that do not know how to do it:
export CTK=/home/champollion
Where /home/champollion is the directory where you extracted champollion
