I'm a student from Germany and actually I am writing my bachelor thesis about renderfarms.
I'm testing your Rederfarm and i love it as a free product.

Here first my environment:
1 Fileserver (for Projectfiles, rendered frames and the cgru(afanasy) temp folder)
1 Server for Afanasy-Server
1 Workstation
4 Nodes with AE CS6, Maya 2012 and Cinema4D R13 --------------------------------
I've got errors during Maya Mental Ray rendering and After Effects:
task output: Can't get file:
R:/cgru_root/temp\tasksoutput\maya_4nodes_try4_mentalRay/b0.t3.s1-RenderCam.frame_151-200
No such file or directory
This error or an equal appears while rendering After Effects or Maya
(in all cases the start numbers are false! For example: it will read b0.t3.s1… and there is no file, or it will read b0.t3.s2… and there is only …s1 to read.)
Cinema 4D got no errors and render with correct render time.
But on AE and Maya I got to long rendertimes (when rendering works with no errors, the rendertime is 4-20 times longer than on other render managers)
Sometimes it renders the frames after 2-5 errors(starts) like above.
Right now i have 4 Nodes rendering Maya and only one node is showing this error, the other 3 nodes are rendering without any problems. All render nodes after that got same errors.
Is there any idea or solution?

There can be some errors. Most Afanasy users afserver on linux and Houdini and Nuke as a software, so i can miss something with other software/platforms. But very interested to correct it and to contact you.
