In this moment cgru afanasy doesn't have support to 3delight in houdini and I would like to know if have plan to include this service and near future.
I am asking because I am having trouble in to render in Houdini using 3delight with the available service (prman, generic, maya_delight). The job works fine with a single frame, however, it fails when I submit multiples frame to render. It just create a bunch of empty images with 0 kb, except one, which is rendering as suppose to be.
So, someone could help me is this?
Windows 7
Houdini 12.0.581
3delight 10.4
thanks

I did not used houdini+3delight, but afanasy service play role configuring farm abilities and task command output parsing.
So there is no much matter what service is used.
1. It should be configured on your farm.
2. Has a right parser to calculate task progress.
If parser is not set or it configured to parse some other output type, you only will not see running task percentage, it can be only running or done ( it can't be 50% completed ). But it is useful for gui, and should play any role on images validness.
ps
If i have any problem with remote rendering via render manager, i try to launch a command without any render manager. To find out a problem. Because any render manager just run some command line, and there is not matter for manager generally 3delight or mantra, houdini or blender at all.

I already tried that and worked well to render a single frame and multiple frame as well.
Single frame: renderdl -progress filename.rib
Multiple frames: for %i in (c:\project\*.rib) do renderdl -progress %i
I can see in the Watch - afanasy monitor that the commands are ok, the right command for each rib file, however the images created are all empty except one and it always like that, just one image is generated.

So you want to say that the same command, executed simply in a shell and via afanasy has different results?
How do you find out exactly what command afanasy executing?
Can you show it?
I send you my contacts to communicate faster.
