HI,

I'm quite new here and just I get on your nervs with this question, nonethe=
less I hope you can help me.
I have a question to you. Which chracter set I have to choose, if I want to=
 write or read letters like '=E4', '=F6', '=FC' or '=DF'. Either utf-8 nor =
iso8859-1 is working on every browser/irc application.

The funny thing is, that it might depend on the character set, other chatti=
ng people are using. Some see the right letters, other only see some funny =
signs.

Is it an configuration fault on my config-file, or depends it on the server=
/os the cgiirc-script is running? what do I need to know, wo configure my s=
cript right?


I would be pleased, if you can help me.
