(I should have waited to post the last comment until I had more of a grasp on the situation, but it's tricky giving remote tech support, as it were, on a problem I don't have myself. And it's better to post three annoying messages in a row than get responses, and then clarify. This problem appears to apply to commands, such as /quit, as well. You type them, hit return, they disappear as if all is well, but nothing happens. I apologize if this is a FAQ but I didn't see anything obviously along these lines in the archives or the docs. rob |
