[cgiirc-general] it wont connect to server

Greetings. i installed and configured cgi:irc. but when i try it out, it=20
cant connect. it gives me=20

and nothing more. I tried port 6667 as well. In other irc programs, and mir=
c=20
it works. anyhelp one this puzzle?

if this is a commercial webhosting account then they are most likely
blocking the outgoing tcp connection.
