Some of the files are generated, but the useful (and non-transient) part of the
patch is in the Makefile.am files.
A patch of only those files is now available where the old one was:
58bd52d3df08977056b1d18dbe3cc7b7 *cgdb-0.3.4-1.patch

The old patch also patches configure.in, but you might want to look at that
a bit closer, as I only simplified it a bit, and adapted it to by dev
environment - there are no changes in it that you will really need.
