#1 sphider via phpMyAdmin to search

Hi you all:
I am trying to make a search engine thru ‘sphider’
software. I have WAMP5 installed. with the wamp server
running on my pc along with phpMyAdmin software
installed [via LAMP].
I did make the necessary changes in the database.php
file [db_name, login ID, host: localhost
, not using any password etc. Did create
database ‘sphider’ on the 1st line] And took a look at
the install.php file too.
I then went to ...admin/admin.php and tried to bring
the file in web browser. Instead of getting a
login screen with two input windows 1.login
2.password.........
I get a very funny looking file. Looks like there is a
syntax error in the file code and get this result.
I am attaching the *.html version of the file and may
be somebody can pickup the bug in the source code.
Please help. I am opening shphider folder thru the
Control panel server ver.2.0++ because the LAMP server
does not cook it properly. [That’s what our class
teacher says]
