I only discovered today that the previous release was incomplete. The new release should fix that. Please let me know if you experience any problems.
This version only adds a little bit of new functionality, but it should be more clear now how to build and install it.
The new Version of cfmake can now write configuration files in the same format as it reads them. Also the building should be a little easier, scons is not required any more.
All code for the project is now also available through SVN from https://cfmake.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/cfmake
I have submitted a new version and bumped up the version count to 0.2. The changes are rather minor, mainly error reporting is now done through exceptions.
It seems that a few people have downloaded the program, but I haven't received any sort of feedback yet. Does it compile ? Are the instructions understandable ? Is it working for you ? I would like to hear your opinion.
I am using the program for a while now and have no problems, but of course I know its limitations and capabilities. So please let me know what you think.
There is now a page for the program at cfmake.sourceforge.net. So far it only contains instructions for usage and installation and some general information.
I have found some time to make some improvements to the code and cranked up the status to beta. Everything works fine for me, but error checking and documentation still leave a few things to be desired.
The first version of cfmake has been released today. There is still a lot to do, but I am already using it for my own projects.
