iFrame / News: Recent posts

Just like to say Thanks to Gert for his effort t date on the iFrame project. It has proven quiet usefull for an Administration interface that we have been developing.

As a result, I have decided that I would like to keep this project going and enhance its capabilties. It has a lot of promise and seems to be quiet widely downloaded. I hope that interest in the project remains. Anyone that has downloaded it and found it use full is welcome to post messages and provide feedback.

Simon Haddon is the new project administrator and lead developer for iFrame. He will try to re-animate the project.

Due to lack of support/input from the community (despite the high number of downloads)
and a personal career move towards another direction in the ICT world, I will not be
able to spend any more time on this project.

People who are interested in taking over can contact me. The site, software & forums will still be available.

Native export to RTF (Ms Word), better export to Excel, new stylesheets, lots of fixes, new features and 3th party library updates... in this new release! Have fun!

The next update will be a new version of iFrame (2.2). I will also (try to) make a generator for
MS SQL Server...

The second beta is available. New feature: generation of Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures

The first beta of "iFrame Generator for Oracle" is now available.

This application will generate iFrame/CF code
and Oracle business logic to browse, insert & edit
Oracle database tables.

Now you can built iFrame/CF pages in less then a
few minutes!

Please let me know if you know any tool
that creates/deploy database-driven pages
any faster than this.

I've just released a menu code generator for iFrame.

The main goal for this tiny application was to test some new concepts that I will use for building an iFrame code generator to update/insert Oracle database tables.

It is also a nice demo (it was written with iFrame)plus you'll get a new extra stylesheet.

Of course, you can also generate menu's
with it :-)

Since the start of the project there were more than 400 downloads (SourceForge + Allaire DevEx)of iFrame.

A few days ago, I released version 2.1. I would like to receive some feedback, so I can decide if I must continue or discontinue the project...
