We are proud to announce the 0.7 version of the Ceylan library, which is a free portable high-level open-source general-purpose C++ library.

This is the latest stable version of Ceylan.

Feel free to download the Ceylan archive, extract it and run the build-and-test-package.sh script.

WOOPER, an OOP wrapper for Erlang, is now in its 0.3 stable version.
Convenience and performance improved over the 0.2 version.

we are proud to announce the 0.6.0 version of the Ceylan library.

This version has been tested on GNU/Linux, Windows XP and Nintendo DS.

A newer File/Directory/FileSystemManager generalized API has been added and integrated, aiming at support of specific filesystems on the Nintendo DS.

The Nintendo DS platform itself is now supported (ARM9 only, library will not fit in ARM7 executables for the moment).... read more

we are proud to announce the 0.5.0 version of the Ceylan library.

This version has been thoroughfully tested both on GNU/Linux and Windows XP.

Many features have been added, notably to prepare a better integration of OSDL (http://osdl.sourceforge.net).

Test coverage is quite good too.

we are proud to announce the 0.4.0 version of the Ceylan library.

We aimed, with this 0.4 version, at an increased portability (Solaris, OpenBSD and Windows XP platforms added).

Other efforts for this version went to the XML read/write support, with a dedicated light-weight parser.

This version is a major milestone, and is very different from the 0.2 version (see Ceylan-0.3-changes.txt and ChangeLog for more details).

We aimed at an increased portability (GNU/Linux, FreeBSD, et NetBSD, 32 or 64 bit) and modularity (full autotools support added).

A lot of efforts for this version went to the networking support.

Since 2003, Ceylan has been the main subproject of OSDL (Object-oriented Simple DirectMedia Layer). Now, Ceylan benefits from a Sourceforge project of its own, and the migration from OSDL will begin shortly. Stay tuned !
