    Hi, I'm trying to use the Tutorial.
    I only want to pass a new param to the PageViewCountData.java.
    The jsp looks like the original from the Tutorial, I added the lines:

    <%@ page language="java" import="java.net.*, java.util.*, java.io.Serializable" session="true" %>
    <% String foo = new String("bar"); %>
    <cewolf:producer id="pageViews">
    <cewolf:param name="faktor" value="<%=(Serializable)foo %>"></cewolf:param>
    </cewolf:producer>

    The PageViewCountData Class does nothing with "foo" but everytime i call the JSP, i get the error:

    09:54:55,366 ERROR [[jsp]] Servlet.service() for servlet jsp threw exception
    java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: setAttribute: Non-serializable attribute

    I am using JBoss and Struts

    Can anybody help me please?

      it seems to be an error at JBoss or Struts or anything else.
      With Tomcat all works fine.

      I've got it!
      The path to overlib.js in the web.xml-file was wrong.
