No

Jim and I noticed that the new DL320 is coming up as
type JD and hence
the grub configfile is not created etc, etc.

Hostname/IP : jimtest (171.68.214.66 - dynamic)
H/W Addr : 000e7fb48f38 - HP

Unfortunately HP printers also use the same prefix (
000e7f ) in their MAC address's so this is simply not
a matter of changing the vendhw record.

The workaround we uses when running up the new DL320
is to manually edit the device record after the first
boot off the grub where it drops to the grub prompt.
Then we edit the device record and type in "bootp
--with-grubfile" at the grub prompt and it proceeds to
download the grub conf file and runs through to a login.

Can you figure out a way of getting the BOOTP server to
automatically distinguish a HP DL320 Server from a HP
Printer under these conditions?
I suspect this will be hard given that there is a
common part in the MAC address. A suggestion solution
is to create the grub configuration files for all
devices regardless.

NOTE: Not all DL320 have MAC addresses that fall within
the HP vendor address range. Some have Broadcom range
MAC addresses.
