Since TCGA has moved the primary data files to GDC, updated data is only available in JSON format. I havn't re-written the parsers to unwrap the new formats or reconcilled the changes to the new names of the metadata fields. At some point when the TCGA data cleanup is complete, I will just replace all the old metadata and mutation data with the new format. There are some functions that depend upon specific meta data field names which have changed, namely any survival calculations, so these may break.
