Introduction :

Welcome to my Cellular Automata Simulator wiki !
This program is used to simulate cellular automata and collect statistics.
It was made in the context of an initiation to research. The project was supervised by Nazim A. Fatès and Olivier Bouré (searchers at INRIA Nancy - Grand Est / LORIA) who provided us with the following publications :

• First steps on asynchronous lattice-gas models with an application to a swarming rule
• A robustness approach to study metastable behaviours in a lattice-gas model of swarming

Installation :

• Download CellularAutomata.zip and extract it.
• This program use Java 7, so you need to install the java 7 jre to launch it.

Utilization :

Double-click CellularAutomata.jar to lauch the program.
The data folder must be in the same folder as CellularAutomata.jar so you can save generated charts.

Sources :

The source files are in the src folder. Most of the methods are documented.
There is no documentation on how to use the program, but the interface is quite simple to understand.
You will need to know some basics on cellular automata to understand the use of the parameters.
