Running "./configure -with-gtk -with-qt-dir=/usr/lib/qt-3.1 --with-extra-includes=/usr/include --with-extra-libs=/usr/lib" produces this message: "checking for jpeg_start_decompress in -ljpeg", and this erorr: "jpeg library not found." I can't figure out what it's looking for.
I am running RedHat 9, and I have the qt package installed, and therefore I also have libjpeg-6b-26 and libjpeg-devel-6b-26 installed. I have tried the glut option, but I don't have KDE installed, and it seems to want that. Any thoughts on what I need to make this work?
