#228 opaque dxt5 & dxt3 treated as transparent

Problem:
Celestia v1.6 (and v1.5.1) assumes that dxt3 and dxt5 textures are transparent even if they are opaque. This causes depth sorting problems.

Suggestion:
Celestia should examine dxt5 and dxt3 files to see if they should be treated as opaque or transparent.

An Addon demonstrating this problem is available at

Just wondering if this bug and subsequent fix should be extended to also consider other filetypes which allow alpha channels, eg. PNG's -- I'm sure I've seen depth-sorting problems occurring when I've used some semi-transparent PNG's in the past.
