when colliding with another object you cannot move. it
is impossible to "rub" against another object and
continue "rubbing" against it. if there is a constant force
of gravity, u cannot move across the floor. I believe this
is a problem with collision detection.

Open Dynamics Engine (ODE) --
I think that is something what should handle realistically
rubbing object together

well it depends how strong a force is. Collision detection
working fine here and without more specifics I can't see
your problem.
