I've got two pretty much identical installations. One runs on a laptop and the other with Virtualbox on a Windows XP machine. Both systems are Ubuntu 11.1 and both have Emacs 23.3.1 installed. CEDET appears to have installed and runs on the VirtualBox machine and I can select the very useful Semantic mode. I've not got to grips with compiling Arduino code with the EDE yet. On the laptop, I can't get Semantic mode and get the error “Autoloading failed to define function semantic-mode”. Also the tick boxes for Semantic and EDE don't 'take' a tick. Is there a 'fix' for this please? Jim |
