Hi Eric, the link to ECB at your new website points to an invalid site - could you please correct this to the only valid ECB-site: http://ecb.sourceforge.net Thanks a lot! Klaus -----Original Message----- From: Eric M. Ludlam [mailto:er...@si...] Sent: Thursday, October 23, 2003 11:00 PM To: ced...@li... Subject: [CEDET-devel] cedet 1.0 beta 1 I've uploaded a tar file for cedet 1.0 beta 1 into the CEDET file releases area. I also checked in changes to the "www" module for the new format for the web site. (I made the link box look sort of like speedbar.) Those changes haven't propagated to the web site though. I still need to formulate release notes and a change log. I'm not quite sure what do do there just yet. I tested the operation and build process on Linux on my work machine where I had not used these tools in a while. As such, I got to use the java parser for the first time while trying to do work. It's great! There are some changes on the cedet-1p0beta1 branch not yet merged into HEAD. I hope to do that soon. Please give it a try. I hope to get to the release notes and sending off email sometime this weekend if nothing critical pops up. Thanks Eric -- Eric Ludlam: za...@gn..., er...@si... Hi Eric, Another feedback ;-) I did a quick comparison between my cedet trunk directory and the one from the beta1 tarball and noticed that the latter doesn't contain these files: eieio/ dbif-browse.el dbif-edit.el dbif.el d-config.el d-dataobj.texi dialog-mode.el dialog.texi dialog-tree.el dlg-class.el dlg-config.el d-widget.texi ecfg-menu.el e-config.el eieiocomp.el Makefile.old psql.el widget-d.el widget-i.el semantic/bovine erlang-eldoc.el semantic-erlang.el I don't know for EIEIO files (probably the above ones are optional stuff), but I think the erlang support files should be in the beta1 distribution. The issue is that they aren't referenced in the bovine/Project.ede file. IMO they should be added to the "languages" target. David |

The issue is that they aren't referenced in the >bovine/Project.ede file. IMO they should be added to the "languages" >target. [ ... ] I will add the erlang stuff. The eieio stuff that is not included falls in two categories. 1) A Widget system I wrote before the custom widget set became popular. (I always thought it had a better look to it.) 2) Database access system I don't have time to maintain and doesn't work anymore. (I only had psql working, and the textual interface to postgres keeps changing.) Thanks Eric -- Eric Ludlam: za...@gn..., er...@si... Where is it wrong. I cannot find the bad link.
