1) Scan bus did not detect anything.
2) cdread could not write iso.

From Win XP SP2 I get:
LITE-ON_DVDRW_SHM-165P6SM SCSI CdRom Device
Device instance ID:
SCSI\CDROM&VEN_LITE-ON&PROD_DVDRW_SHM-165P6S&REV_MS0P\5&3063AFA3&1&000
Location: Bus Number 0, Target ID 0, LUN 0

(NB: I got this by getting the properties of the DVD-RAM Drive (Right click in Windows Explorer) and then under the Hardware tab, selecting the device and the properties button and the on the General tab (for ) under Location) – You may want to include this in help when Scan Bus is unsuccessful.

I filled in 0,0,0 but upon reading from “0,0,0 // DVD \\Reader” the readcd.log file shows

readcd is finished, your iso should be ready!

1 [main] ? 9320 shared_info::initialize: size of shared memory region changed from 21008 to 19988

and no .iso exists.

Is there perhaps a new cdrecord.exe for my latest cygwin.dll? Where? (Your cygwin1.dll is version 1005.9.0.0 whereas I have 1005.24.0.0 available)

Thanks and thank you for your contribution to open source!
