I've got a question regarding the info that CDRDAO
gives about CD-R medium. For example, it says:
Long-strategy type (e.g. Cyanine)
Short-strategy type (e.g. Phthalocyanine)
I have read that Cyanine is the next generation after
AZO, it provides higher reflection levels than AZO,
but the lifetime of medium with Cyanine active layer
is about 10 years (vs. 100 years for AZO).
Phtalocyanine is a new-generation material that
combines high reflection and long lifetime.
Is the article wrong, or there is a typo in the
