Hi! I have written a small program to convert CUE files as they are used for audio CDs referencing a single large audio file to TOC format. It calculates the length parameter of the FILE statement from the difference between the INDEX statements of adjacent tracks in the CUE file and also creates proper CD-Text blocks. At least I hope it does ;) You can download it here: http://grmblpfz.ath.cx/~lal/cue2toc/cue2toc-0.1.tar.gz Feedback would be _very_ welcome, especially since this is my first project ever so its probably full of things that could be done better and I want to know about them! Hi Matthias, It's looking good, though i haven't had a chance to actually test it. Are there linux apps that generate CUE files or is it a Windows thing ? Would you be ok if we add it to our set of utils as part of the cdrdao project ? We could certainly use it from gcdmaster as an 'Import...' menu item. Would you be interested in working on a similar set of utilities to import 'inf' files as generated by cdrecord and cdda2wav ? -denis --- Matthias Czapla <der...@gm...> wrote: > Hi! > > I have written a small program to convert CUE files as they are used > for > audio CDs referencing a single large audio file to TOC format. Of course, no problem. > Would you be interested in working on a similar set of utilities to > import 'inf' files as generated by cdrecord and cdda2wav ? In principle yes. But I cannot promise that I will come up with something useful or that it will happen in a reasonable amount of time ;) I just looked at cdda2wav and it seems it always creates an .inf file for each track. I have never seen or used it. Whats the typical usage? With cdrecord -useinf With inf files you can build CDTEXT items and set pregap. -- Giuseppe "Cowo" Corbelli ~\/~ My software: http://cowo.yoda2000.net DOS - Defective Operating System IBM - I Blame Microsoft BASIC - Bill's Attempt to Seize Industry Control WINDOWS - Will Install Needless Data On Whole System MICROSOFT - Most Intelligent Customers Realize Our Software Only Fools Teenagers |
