I have hit a curious problem trying to upgrade cdrdao.
The version that was provided with the redhat distribution (1.1.7) works fine.
I downloaded the source for version 1.1.9 and compiled it using all of the default options (./configure, make, make install).  It compiles ok.
The new executable will blank a CDRW ok, but will not write (The error is: /usr/local/bin/cdrdao: Input/output error.  : scsi sendcmd: no error
CDB:  2A 00 FF FF FF 84 00 00 1A 00
status: 0x2 (CHECK CONDITION)).
I tried compiling the 1.1.7 source, and it does the same thing.
Re-installing the package that came with the redhat distribution gets it working again though.
I suspect I must have missed a trick when I am compiling it, but can't think what.  Can anyone help please?

Cheers

Graham.
