I read of someone else having the same problem but there's was resolved by using the latest source. I've got the latest source form CVS, but still have the same problem. Everything worked before I moved to kernel 2.6 with ATAPI CD. I'm trying to upgrade my CDRDAO to work with the new ATAPI CD, but after a successful ./config, I get the error 'cannot find -lscg' during a make.
I'm running Redhat 9, upgraded to Kernel 2.6
There's a bug in the scsilib directory Makefile: the top-level make process doesn't abort if scsilib fails to compile correctly.
why is scsilib failing ? what does it say when you do 'make -C scsilib' ?
Otherwise, you can link with cdrecord-devel and that should work just fine.
