So I created a TOC in gcdmaster, and listened to the sound files in gcdmaster. everything sounds great, so i burn my CDR. however, upon playing the CDR, the audio sounds quite amplified -- to the point of clipping in the loud sections.
also, if i listen to the original .wav file, using a simple wav player, it sounds fine.
does anyone have an explanation to this?

Perhaps you have different volume in the CD?
Ripping the CD and listening to it sound ok?
