I updated cDock 9.5 to version 2 (0.9.7) by using the internal updatefunction. With 9.5 I was using the "Transparent"-setting, but after updating the appearance of the Dock resetted to the Yosemite original view immediately. Whatever I tried in cDock 2 had no effect. I had to restore the folder ~/Library/Application Support/cDock, the com.apple.dock.plist from ~/Library/Preferences and the app itself (version 9.5) from a backup to get it back working.

Could have something to do with this issue: https://github.com/w0lfschild/cDock2/issues/2

If that's the case it will be fixed in the next release.

I have no transparency on MBA 2015. Running 10.11 with rootless disabled. Cdock works perfectly on my MacPro. any suggestions?

Dockmod no longer exists so I guess I win 😝.
