## [Cdk-devel] Problem with coordinates

[Cdk-devel] Problem with coordinates From: Stefan Kuhn - 2003-12-17 17:01:44 ```Hi egon, quoting "Fixed coordinate system. Now conform common sense. A few things = might=20 be broken, or behave differently... Complaints to cdk-devel@" I must say = that=20 things seem indeed broken ... Renderer2D paints everything ouside the are= a,=20 because the Y coordinates have always negative figures. Add =20 System.err.println(screenCoords[0]+" "+screenCoords[1]); at line 580 of= =20 Renderer2D and you will see what I mean. Greetings Stefan --=20 Stefan Kuhn M. A. Yes, there is a number of bugs in JCP in synchronizing display dimension, with drawing dimension... File those as JCP bugs. I think keeping stereochemistry correct as given in MDL files is more important than keeping CDK such to circumvent JCP problems... Look for Renderer2DModel.getBackgroundDimension()... that one is not synched with the size of the JPanel, AFAIK... that needs to be fixed... It's on my agenda... Egon -- egonw@...
