Hi Nina, Sam, Andreas, others,

I think there currently are three groups using maven2 for the CDK:
Cambridge, AMBIT, and CDK-Taverna. The AMBIT pom.xml we now have in
the CDK repository, and I would like to start a discussion on creating
one pom.xml that works fine for all three projects...

ambit pom.xml is not complete so far, it doesn't attempt to do any build.

Would be nice to have a single pom which builds the cdk sources and has all dependencies defined ... ideally this could extend to JChemPaint.

Adding to my wish list is supporting separate pom.xml for all cdk modules, this is actually what a standard maven setup should look like and will allow using fine grain dependencies (I can imagine not everybody needs 11MB cdk jar all the time).

Sam, Andreas, when you have time, could you please look at the current
pom.xml in the git cdk-1.4.x repository and briefly summarize how it
needs to be changed to make it compatible with your copies?
