I am getting artifacts regularly on my MP3s.
WinXP-Pro on a P4 1.8Ghz.
Any ideas?

  Actually CDDA Ripper XP was working properly.
  It was Quicktime that was playing the MP3s with artifacts. Win Media Player worked and so did Audacity.
