#157 4.0b final segfaults when writing plots to files
Hi,
When writing plots to files (postscript, cgm, eps, and
gif), vcs segfaults
in the Canvas.py module. Stepping through my script
with pdb shows
that the segfault occurs in the execution of
return apply(self.canvas.postscript,args)
at line 5125 in Canvas.py in the case of postscript output.
The faults for other output occur at their
corresponding calls (e.g,
"return apply(self.canvas.cgm, args)" at line 4374 in
the case of
cgm output).
The script is just:
#!/usr/bin/env python
import cdms,vcs,pdb
f_in = cdms.open("mydata.nc")
myvar = f_in['MYVAR']
b=vcs.init()
b.plot(myvar)
pdb.set_trace()
b.cgm('myplot.cgm')
This is on a Slackware 9.0.0 system. CDAT was cleanly
installed
using the express_install script into my home directory
from the
CDAT-4.0-everything.tar.gz package.
